"The Obama administration, under fire for inflating job growth from the $787 billion stimulus plan, slashed over 60,000 jobs from its most recent report on the program because the reporting outlets had submitted "unrealistic data," according to a document obtained by ABC News."
The above, as indicated, is from ABC News. You will remember that the Obama Administration put out a report that 540,000 jobs have been "saved/created" (lol) by that "stimulus" package. No one believed it. The previous actual counting of jobs from contracts came to 25,000 (down from 30,000). The 640,000 was mainly GOVERNMENT jobs. The promise, of course, had been for private sector jobs. Tuns out that many government entities reported saving more jobs than EXISTED in the area they were "counting". Then there were little gimmicks like counting jobs where the wages increased as "saved/created" jobs. I guess that was on the theory that if the wages had not been increased, the person would have left the job.
There is an unconfirmed rumor that Barack Obama has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for FICTION. I admit this is hard to believe, but not much harder to believe than that he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize within a month or so of becoming President, AND WON.
I Obama is the surprise winner of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, remember that you heard it here first.
