"NY GOP gov hopeful Paladino says he'd hire gays
You say you don't understand the above headline? Neither do I, as a matter of "news". I do understand why it is one of the featured Associated Press "news" articles on Yahoo "News" (Boycott Yahoo). That is because the AP, and Yahoo (along with the rest of the mainstream media), , are CORRUPT ADVOCATES rather than purveyors of "news'.
The religious right was once ridiculed for concentrating on "social issues" like abortion and gay marriage, when the country faced such bigger issues. Am I ridiculing the hypocrites in the mainstream media? Damn right I am. To listen to the mainstream media these days the most important issue in the country today is "gay rights? This article is al about a pro-homosexual agenda.
New York is a state in trouble, and all Yahoo and the Associated Press think is important is what he says about whether he will "hire gays". Give me a greak. Who ever said there was any real problem out there with gays being hired? Who ever suggested--except the corrupt people in the mainstream media--that there was ever any possibility that Paladino would refuse to "hire gays". I think it is against New York law, although it is stupid to extend anti-discrimination laws that way. Short people, fat people, thin people, pimpled people, ugly people (probably more "discriminated" against than any), and so on. You could list any number of categories of people just as likely not to "be hired" as homosexuals, especially since there is no real way to tell who is homosexual because it is CONDUCT. It may be illegal to discriminateagainst them all in New York, even for private companies. That is because New York is stupid. That kind of law just means that every business is faced with a constant stream not lawsuits, whether the business "discriminates" or ot. Is it illegal to "discriminate" against a person for non-marital, heterosexual sex (and bragging about it). In New York, maybe. Sanely, it should not be.
You would think every single member of the mainstream media is gay, the way they obsess over the subject. You don't think.......... Surely, at least, all CNN people are gay, as well as liars. How else do you explain the absolute fixation CNN has with "gay"? How could Anderson Cooper be anything but gay? You say he doesn't look gay? Well, I never suspected Rock Hudson was homosexual. Nah. I just can't go there. And if the only problem with CNN was that they are all homosexual, the network would be so much better.
I am serious. Just what makes this "news" to be FEATURED in a headline? Let me tell you. First, the effort is to promote the idea that if even a GOP "hopeful" opposes discrimination against homosexuals, then the entire media agenda to promote homosexuality as just as acceptable as heterosexuality is correct. What am I saying? The agenda here is to give homosexuals MORE protect on that heterosexuals, and certainly to give them APPROVAL (not just tolerance). An ancillary benefit here, to Yahoo and the Associated press, is that they think this story HURTS Paladino. Say what? How can it hurt him to state the obvious? Easy. I know how these corrupt people think. They think that the religious right, and other conservatives, won't like Paladino "approving" of gays, even though he went on to say he thought young people should not be exposed to "gay culture". And they know pro-homosexual activists are never going to support Paladino anyway. And there is that implication in the headline that there was a QUESTION about whether Paladino would hire gays. Yes, even though almost all conservatives would "hire" gays for most jobs, or not care, the despicable AP thinks this headline will hurt Paladino with conservatives. But the main agenda here is to promote the agenda of homosexual activists.
But aren't you glad that the despicable AP, and Yahoo "News", are letting you know what the New York governor's race is all about. Now all we need is for Andrew Cuomo to come out AGAINST "hiring gays", and the issue will be jointed. Forget about the economic problems of New York. They are not important. Did I mention this is a LONG article--not a small paragraph at the end of an article, which is all it deserves? BOYCOTT YAHOO.
I can't get over the shock. Paladino would "hire gays". Who knew? That settles it. You have to vote against HIM. (SARCASM)
P.S. Just to make time references clear, the above was originally written on Monday morning.
P.P.S. Drudge headline (headline taken from, and link provided to, local CBS station website): Paladino Ups Ante: Slams Cuomo Over Gay Pride Parade. Now you can at least see why that is local NEWS. I disagree with Drudge that it is really worth featuring as natiional news, and I think Drudge is feeding--wrongly--off of the mainstream media obsession with "gay issues". But at least Drudge is COMPETENT, and does not let his agenda completely distort his "news" judgement. Anyone who thinks that it is headline "news" that Paladino would "hire gays" works for the incompetent, corrupt Associated Press, or for Yahoo.
